Annual servicing at a fixed price

A boiler service in Dundrum, Churchtown or Ballinteer costs a fixed €140. The engineer checks that the boiler is burning cleanly using a flue gas analyser, cleans and inspects the key internal parts, tests the gas pressure, controls and safety devices, and makes sure the flue is in good order. It usually takes under an hour.

At the end you get a written service record. That paperwork is what boiler manufacturers ask for to keep a warranty valid, and it gives you peace of mind going into the colder months.

Repairs and replacement boilers

Boiler repairs are a fixed €140, or €195 when combined with a service on the same visit. We tell you what the fault is and what it will cost before any work is done, so there are no surprises.

If your boiler is old, inefficient or keeps breaking down, we can replace it with a 2027 A-rated condensing boiler from €2,950 + VAT. Before you decide, we help you choose between a combi and a system boiler based on your hot water use. Humm finance is available, and landlords can book a €195 gas safety inspection.

We recently fitted a new Glow-worm boiler in Balally, Dundrum.

Looking after your boiler between services

A few simple habits help a boiler last. Keep an eye on the pressure gauge — on most sealed systems it should sit around 1 to 1.5 bar when the heating is cold — and do not keep topping it up if it drops again and again, because that usually points to a leak or a failing part that needs checking. Leave the boiler's ventilation clear, and if the flame looks lazy or yellow, or you notice soot marks, turn it off and call us.

If you ever smell gas, leave the property, avoid using switches and call Gas Networks Ireland on 1800 20 50 50 straight away. For everything else, from a noisy boiler to radiators that will not heat up, we are a phone call or WhatsApp message away.
